But first, I must leave Columbia, Missouri and the apartment that has been my home for 5 years. My mother called it "Shawshank" when I first moved in, because it looks like the half-way house Red and Brooks live in when they're on parole in Shawshank Redemption. I didn't care, and I still don't. I love this apartment.

I'm excited. I'm scared. And then there's the moments where I think, "Holy shit! I have a master's degree." Those are the best.
